How it works
So you have some great colorful photos of our city to share with the world? Here is how the Challenge works:
Part 1: Local
In the first part of the Challenge everyone gets to submit photos of our city. The process is simple:
- Register your details on the registration page and click SUBMIT.
- You will receive a confirmation email with a link. Follow the link back to the photo upload page.
- Use the photo upload page to enter up to 5 photos to the competition.
- Each photo has to be about colours of our city and less than 4MB.
- All photographs will go through a moderation process, so please ensure none of your photographs has inappropriate content.
- Soon after uploading, your photos will appear in the gallery.
- You can use the gallery to view everyone’s photos of our city, to vote for your favourites and to send photos to friends.
- The 5 most popular photos, as voted by the public and a panel of judges, will win a prize and will enter the second and final part of the Challenge and compete against photos from all over the world. Our shortlisted entries will also appear in the local Metro.
Part 2: Global
In the second part of the challenge, the 100 shortlisted photos from all 20 participating countries will compete for the grand prize. The process is simple:
- All 100 shortlisted photos will be showcased in the campaign’s global gallery (to be launched at the end of part 1 of the competition). Hopefully yours will be there as well!
- You will be able to visit the gallery and vote for your favourite photos.
- The public will vote for the best 3 photos. One could be yours!
